Families planning a Walt Disney World vacation in 2026 just got a magical new perk of free dining for kids all year long!
In a major announcement, Disney revealed that throughout all of 2026, guests staying at any of their 25+ Disney Resort hotels will receive a free dining plan for children ages 3 to 9, as long as a paid dining plan is included in the package for guests 10 and up. The offer can also be combined with select other promotions, giving families even more ways to save while enjoying the most magical place on Earth.
How to get in on the deal...
Disney’s dining plans, which are available as part of vacation packages, include meals, snacks, and kid-friendly favorites at a wide range of on-property dining locations. With this new deal, families can worry less about mealtime costs and focus more on the fun.
Bookings open April 22 for travel dates through October 31, 2026, with availability for November and December set to open at a later date. For those who can’t wait that long, Disney is still offering special promotions for 2025, including resort hotel discounts and summer ticket savings.
The free kids’ dining deal arrives just as Walt Disney World gears up for some seriously exciting expansions and entertainment.
First up, the highly anticipated stage show “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” is set to premiere on May 27, 2025, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This theatrical extravaganza gives iconic baddies like Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, and Captain Hook a chance to tell their side of the story, with music, mischief, and a little audience participation.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, things are about to get even more adventurous. Disney has officially confirmed a Tropical Americas expansion titled Pueblo Esperanza, taking over the DinoLand, U.S.A. section of the park.
In this new land, guests will get to explore two brand-new attractions. First, areimagined Indiana Jones ride with an original storyline that takes Indy deep into a mysterious Mayan temple in search of a mythical creature. The attraction will replace the existing DINOSAUR ride and feature similar ride technology.
Secondly, the first-ever Encanto-themed attraction, where guests enter Antonio’s rainforest-inspired room inside the magical Casita. This immersive family-friendly ride will allow visitors to explore alongside Antonio and other members of the Madrigal family.
Construction on the new Animal Kingdom offerings is set to begin in phases this fall, setting the stage for a bold new era at the park. With new lands, unforgettable shows, and free dining for kids on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most enchanting years yet at Walt Disney World.
