After Hours events return to Walt Disney World: Dates and pricing announced

Disney has just announced the special After Hours events for their WDW parks! Here's when and where you can go!

Get ready for the long-awaited return of a Walt Disney World tradition. Starting in early 2024, Disney is bringing back After Hours for three of its big WDW theme parks, and here’s the info on it!

A tradition for years, After Hours is a special WDW event as guests can pay an extra price for an additional three hours in Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and Epcot. This takes place after the rest of the park closes to the general public, allowing guests a chance to get on rides with far shorter lines, special meet and greets with characters, complimentary snacks (ice cream, popcorn, beverages) and more. 

Disney usually times this out for the winter period when nights are longer. Also, they generally take place on either Monday or Wednesday, as the weekends are a busy period for WDW. Note that Animal Kingdom is not included as that park closes earlier than others. As expected, it’s an additional price on top of the usual park ticket, which is a bit more expensive this year. 

Here’s how the dates and prices break down for each of the three parks doing After Hours:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Special note: TRON Light Cycle Run will have a special standby queue for these events. Also, the nighttime fireworks show “Enchantment” will run exclusively for this event.

Tickets will be available for purchase on the Disney website on November 7. This is a special treat for those willing to pay extra for some more time in the parks and spark up a WDW trip in 2024.
