If you have kids, odds are you've seen Bluey. Heck, even if you don't have kids, you've probably heard the name. Or you've seen a meme or a clip on social media. Bluey is one of those shows that appeal to all ages and has life lessons for everyone.

What started as a small Australian kids' series has grown into an international phenomenon and is now one of the most popular shows on television. According to Disney's press release, Bluey begins 2024 as the No. 1 most-streamed series across all audiences and the No. 1 series for preschoolers and kids overall in the U.S., according to Nielsen.

The series features bite-sized 9-minute episodes that focus primarily on the title character — Bluey, a lovable and inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog with limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways.

But while you're laughing and playing along with Bluey and her friends, odds are you're also absorbing an important message — whether you realize it or not. Bluey is known for its surprisingly mature themes and valuable life lessons that it not only teaches to kids but to adults as well.

New episodes of Bluey are slated to kick off next month which will also mark the premiere of the first extended-length special of the hit series. Titled "The Sign," the episode appears to revolve around some sort of wedding event — at least that's my takeaway from the trailer. Disney has yet to release an official synopsis.

"The Sign" is billed as a "super-sized" adventure that will producers say producers hint will contain "laughs, a few tears and exciting guest voices."

The press release confirms a voice cast that will see Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti reprise their roles as the voices of Bandit and Chilli Heeler, Patrick Brammall return as the voice of Uncle Rad, Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky, alongside Megan Washington as Calypso, Myf Warhurst as Trixie, and Rose Byrne as Aunt Brandy. Rove McManus, Deborah Mailman, Brendan Williams and Joel Edgerton will be making their Bluey voice debuts.

Bluey "The Sign" will premiere on April 14 at 12:00 a.m. PDT on Disney+, 7:00 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior, and 7:30 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel. On April 7th, the new standard-length episode "Ghostbasket" will debut.
