Taking younger children to Disneyland can be an adventure on its own. But it can also be stressful, especially if you're new to the parks. Over the past couple of weeks, I've offered suggestions for activities and experiences for families across all the different themed lands in Disnelyand, including New Orleans Square and Critter Country, Toontown, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Today, we're looking at both Adventureland and Fontierland.

1. Jungle Cruise

The original Disneyland ride is a classic. For me, the skipper makes all the difference, with the jokes and witty comments throughout the journey. To children, that probably is not the main draw. Instead, the animatronic animals are what they will remember. The ride may seem a bit outdated at this point, but my kids love seeing all the animals while going through the rivers of the world. One word of caution is to be careful with younger children when riding at night. It could be a bit scary during the journey. Otherwise, enjoy all the sights and jokes!
