Taking younger children to Disneyland can be an adventure on its own. Over the past couple of weeks, we've offered some fun activities and attractions to do around Disneyland with children. Now it's time to visit a galaxy far, far away. Disneyland's Star Wars-themed land, Galaxy's Edge, features plenty to do for both adults and children. Here's what we suggest.

Remember, these suggestions are based on staying at a hotel within walking distance of the park, using Genie +, and having the mindset of a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disneyland. If you are a regular Disneyland visitor, your suggestions would most likely differ from mine. I also realize that each family dynamic is different. Take this advice and adjust it to help your family have a magical time because that is what matters in the end.

With that said, let’s take a look at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

1. Hondo!

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is a fun, action-packed motion simulator ride where you help Hondo Ohnaka on a special mission. The audio-animatronic of Hondo is worth the wait alone, and the ride doesn't disappoint either. You will either take the role of a pilot, gunner, or engineer, trying to complete a daring mission. One thing to think about with younger children is to probably have them take the role of engineer. It's the easiest role and won't cause too many issues if not done as precisely. You can also get some great photo opportunities of the Millennium Falcon by the queue line.
