Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine has arrived in theaters this week. While this is Wolverine's first time stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel fans have been trained for years to stick around once the story concludes.

In the early days of the MCU, Marvel would typically include mid-credits or post-credits scenes that would in someway link towards a future Marvel movie in the works. It served as a great way to get fans excited about future movies.

Marvel movies today still contain these special scenes after the movies, although they don't always have the same impact as they once did. Still, fans have been trained to sit through the credits.

This brings us to Deadpool & Wolverine and the big question: Is there a post-credits scene? Below, we've got the spoiler-free answer for you!

Does Deadpool & Wolverine have a mid-credits or post-credits scene?

The simple answer is there's no mid-credits scene, but there is a post-credits scene that you'll want to stick around for. Obviously that comes at the very end but to keep you engaged, there is a fun side video that plays alongside the credits until we get to the big ending.

As for the end credits scene, I'm not going to spoil what it is. However, it's definitely worth staying for. Comic Book Movie says "it may go down as an all-time great."

So there you have it, if you plan on seeing Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters this weekend or any time soon, you'll want to stick around through the credits because there is a post-credit scene

We've also finally got the answer to another pressing question from the movie: Who is Lady Deadpool? The character was first teased in the trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine and while actor Ryan Reynolds has stated numerous times that he's not playing the character, we now know who does!
