Coming off the incredible showing at Comic-Con and the box office success of Deadpool & Wolverine, excitement surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally back! But can Marvel capitalize on this rejuvenated energy?

Let's take a look at what's still to come for the remainder of this year. Below is a quick recap of the upcoming Marvel movies and television shows still coming in 2024.

Agatha All Along

Premiering on Disney+ on September 18

With Deadpool & Wolverine likely having long legs at the box office, its success should carry us through August. This will bring us to Marvel's next big project — Agatha All Along.

An incredible marketing plan resulted in the name of this series changing multiple times throughout production, which is perfectly representative of the infamous witch herself. The series was formerly known as Agatha: Coven of Chaosi, Agatha: Darkhold Diaries, and Agatha: House of Harkness.

The upcoming Disney+ series sees the great Kathryn Hahn return to the role of Agathan Harkness, the powerful which who serves as the eventual protagonist of the Disney+ series WandaVision. Hahn's incredible performance sparked plenty of excitement for the character and now we can see what she does in the full spotlight of her own series.

The synopsis reads:

"In Agatha All Along, the infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they’re missing. Together, Agatha and this mysterious Teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road…

Eyes of Wakanda

Scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024

Eyes of Wakanda is an animated series that follows the history of Wakanda, as seen through the eyes of the brave warriors who have been tasked to travel the world retrieving vibranium artifacts. Unfortunately, Marvel hasn't talked much about this project and it wasn't included in the Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con. It's expected to premiere in 2024, so hopefully that's still true.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man

Tentatively scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024

Another animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (formerly titled Spider-Man: Freshman Year) follows Peter Parker "on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots."

Hudson Thames will voice Peter Parker/Spider-Man, reprising his role from Marvel Studios Animation's What If...?. The series wlil also feature Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Hugh Dancy as Otto Octavius, and Kari Wahlgren as May Parker.

Again, we haven't heard much about this series lately, so we're only assuming it's still on track for a 2024 debut on Disney+.

No more Marvel movies for 2024

As far as movies are concerned, Deadpool & Wolverine is the last from Marvel Studios in 2024. The next big MCU blockbuster will be Captain America: Brave New World, which hits theaters on February 14, 2025.

This may feel like a missed opportunity for Marvel to capitalize on the excitement following Deadpool and Wolverine but as we've seen in the past, more Marvel isn't always a good thing. There's definitely been a sense of superhero fatigue around the MCU in recent years, so hopefully this break will help.
