For months now, rumors have persisted that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliff has a role in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie, which is now officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine. The casting has not been officially announced or acknowledged by Marvel or the actor himself, but the rumors continue to swirl.

On the heels of the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer dropping, fans now think they've spotted the 28-year-old actor. The moment in question comes at the 1:20 mark. Deadpool is walking through a casino floor and approaching someone who appears to be Logan sitting at one of the tables.

It's just a brief glimpse of the character but it's all fans have needed to start speculating. The fact that the character has Wolverine's signature hairstyle but we don't see his face has led some to speculate that it's actually Daniel Radcliffe's version of the character.

It's believed that Radcliffe is playing a variant of Wolverine. More specifically, he appears to be portraying "Patch," an alter-ego of Wolverine that he uses when infiltrating the criminal underworld in Madripoor. For some reason a white suit and an eye patch are all Wolverine needs to hide his identity. It's quite ridiculous and, if this turns out to be true, I fully expect Deadpool to make a quip about it.

In any case, we don't actually see Radcliffe's face, but the fact we also don't see actor Hugh Jackman has led many to believe there's something more going on here.

In addition to the suit and the hair, fans have analyzed the split-second clip and have taken notice of the character's build as well. Whoever it is, doesn't appear to have the same body frame as Hugh Jackman. The shoulders seem a bit more slender, which suggests it's someone other than Jackman.

We all know that Radcliffe has spent the last couple of months getting shredded, but he has insisted it's not for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26, 2024. Just how excited are Marvel fans for it? Well, the first trailer has smashed global records.
