Movies and TV shows coming to Disney+ in August 2023

Disney+ has announced their full lineup of releases in August. They include one of the biggest recent MCU hits and the much-anticipated premiere of a new Star Wars series alongside some other shows ready to entertain fans all month long!

Tuesday August 2nd: 

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3

The grand conclusion to James Gunn’s MCU trilogy has the ragtag band of misfits racing to save the life of Rocket (Bradley Cooper), leading to a huge conflict against the evil High Evolutionary and the powerful Adam Warlock. 

Wednesday, August 3rd

Farm Dreams (S1, 6 episodes)

This six-part documentary series follows farmer/forger Indy Officinalis as she connects aspiring farmers with experts in hopes of living out their dreams. 

How Not to Draw Shorts (S1, 5 episodes)

This satirical series has Disney animators doing a tongue-in-cheek “tutorial" on how easily animation leads to chaos.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures (New Episodes Streaming)

Set during The High Republic, in “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures' ' we follow Jedi younglings Kai, Lys, & Nubs as they are sent by Master Yoda to train at a Jedi temple on the beautiful world of Tenoo under the tutelage of Master Zia. Together, they blast off on adventures across Tenoo and throughout the galaxy aboard the Crimson Firehawk with ace pilot Nash and her droid, RJ-83! They’ll help those in need, clash with villainous pirates, discover exotic creatures, but most importantly, they will learn what it means to be a good friend.
