Is Taylor Swift going to have a role in Deadpool & Wolverine?

If you recall, late last year, rumors swirled that the 34-year-old global superstar would have a role in the upcoming threequel. It was speculated that Swift could be playing Dazzler, or even just have a cameo appearance as herself.

The recent trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine, which premiered earlier this month, didn't provide any clues about the singer's rumored appearance. However, some new international marketing for the movie has further fueled these rumos.

Marvel's official Facebook page for Australia and New Zealand posted a single photo of friendship bracelets for Deadpool and Wolverine. As the post was made right before "The Eras Tour" arrived in Australia, many were quick to speculate that it was a nod to the Swifties fandom.

For those unfamiliar, there's a trend among Swifites where they make these friendship bracelets and exchange them at Taylor Swift's concerts. The trend apparently stems from Swift's song "Your On Your Own Kid," from her album Midnights, in which the lyrics read: "So, make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it."

Both the content and the timing of the post could've just been some clever marketing to capitalize on Swift's arrival in Australia. However, it has also further fueled the speculation that Swift will have a role in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Swift isn't the only star rumored to have a role in Deadpool & Wolverine. It's also rumored that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will appear in the film as a variant of Wolverine. Some believe Radcliffe was shown briefly from behind in the trailer (at the 1:20 mark). It's speculated that he could be playing Patch, the identity that Wolverine takes on when entering the criminal underworld in Madripoor.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to arrive in theaters on July 26th.
