Halloween may be around the corner, but Disney park fans are also readying themselves for Christmas. That includes Epcot’s iconic Candlelight Processional event. Now, Disney has revealed who the narrators for the special event are and includes some amazing performers!
Since Disneyland opened in 1955, a tradition was during the holiday seasons, a choir group would make their way down Main Street with candles, sing some classic Christmas hymns and tell the story of Christmas. It was eventually moved to Epcot and has become a classic event for the park.
Thus, from Thanksgiving to New Year’s, visitors at Epcot can watch this procession, the choir, backed by a great orchestra and a celebrity name telling the story. This year is going to be bigger than ever, with a whopping nine new celebrities joining in.
The celebrity list
The celebrity list for the 2023 Candelight Processional was just announced and it's bigger and better than ever before.
Coming back are past celebrity readers like John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Oscar-winner Marlee Matlin and Lisa Ling.
Stars joining for this year include This Is Us stars Chrissy Metz and Sterling K. Brown; Tony-award winner Audra McDonald; Eva Longoria; legendary actress Ann-Margret; and Oscar-winner Brendan Fraser.

Tickets will soon by on sale for the event, and while Disneyland will have its own Processional, there’s no word on their readers yet. But this list of stars promises to make the 2023 Candlelight Processional an even bigger deal.
