Does the infamous line “Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!” ring a bell? Performed by Bowling for Soup, that famous line said by Candace in the theme song for "Today Is Gonna Be a Great Day" has become the iconic phrase starting each and every episode of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb.

Variety reported that the reboot of the Phineas and Ferb series will be premiering in 2025 and will see much of the voice cast from the show's original run return to their respective characters.

An announcement was also made at a panel at New York’s ComicCon in 2024. The cast and characters feature returning voices of Vincent Martella, who voiced Phineas Flynn; Ashley Tisdale, who voiced Candace Flynn; Alyson Stoner, who voiced Isabella Garcia-Shapiro; Dan Povenmire, who voiced Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz is a creator of the show  and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, who voices Major Francis Monogram also created Phineas and Ferb. For this series, Errigo Jr. replaces Thomas Sangster, who had voiced Ferb during the original run of Phineas & Ferb.

According to Variety, Disney said the new season "will follow the inventive stepbrothers as they tackle another 104 days of summer." Disney also says, "Candace is more determined than ever to finally bust her little brother.

Meanwhile, the boys' pet platypus, Perry, continues to lead a double life as the suave Agent P, whose sole mission is to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State area.” Dan Povenmirek revealed the first line of his character in season five in a TikTok video.

The reboot will feature two new seasons, each consisting of 40 episodes, continuing the series. The first run of Phineas and Ferb ran from 2007 to 2015, and it has been 10 years since the show aired any new episodes on Disney Channel.

Phineas and Ferb was such a huge part of my childhood, and most of what I remember from it is the catchy songs, Dr. Doofenshmirtz's latest crazy inventions and exciting adventures that Phineas, Ferb, and the gang embark on.

Now, in honor of this iconic show and celebrating its return, here are my top 10 favorite episodes from Phineas and Ferb.

1. Summer Belongs to You (Season 2, Episode 54)

In a bet Phineas made with Buford, Phineas, Ferb, and the gang attempt to travel around the world and make it home before the sun sets on the summer solstice using the Sun-Beater 3000 they created. Candace joins the gang in an attempt to visit her crush Jeremy, who is in Paris, while Dr. Doofenshmirtz is caught up in a scheme involving tinfoil and brings Vanessa along with the plan. This wild story features many catchy songs, but the one song that captures the main theme of Phineas and Ferb is the song "Summer Belongs to You."

2. Rollercoaster: The Musical! (Season 2, episode 31)

Phineas and Ferb reflect on all the fun adventures they've had and agree that the rollercoaster they built in the pilot episode was their best adventure yet. They decide to recreate that experience in a musical format. With catchy songs like "What'cha Doin'?" and "Back in Gimmelshtump," this episode reimagines the pilot in a cleverly meta way.

3. Quantum Boogaloo (Season 2, episode 14)

In this episode, the future of the Tri-State Area is altered when Phineas and Ferb use a time machine they repaired in an earlier episode to travel in the future. There, they encounter adult Candace, who decides to use the time machine to return to the past and bust her brothers in the pilot episode. However, her actions backfire, creating a future of doom and destruction caused by the future Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

4. Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together (Season 1, episode 14)

It is the wedding anniversary of Lawrence and Linda, and when Lawrence forgets their anniversary, Phineas and Ferb help to bring back Lawrence and Linda's favorite band, called Love Händel's flaming hot spotlight of love, where he and Linda shared their first kiss at their farewell concert. This episode is full of surprises and shows how Phineas and Ferb are determined to do anything, including getting a band back together.

5. I Scream, You Scream (Season 1, episode 12)

In "I Scream, You Scream," Phineas, Ferb and the gang attempt to make the perfect ice cream treat for Isabella when she's laid up in bed recovering from having her tonsils out. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz spends some quality time with his daughter Vanessa while inventing his latest evil contraption-the Space-Laser-inator. Ferb and Vanessa cross paths at a blueprint shop, where a mix-up occurs with the blueprints they receive. The episode emphasizes the parallels between Vanessa trying to expose her father’s antics to her mother and Candace trying to bust her brothers, all captured in their catchy tune, "Busted.

6. Night of the Living Pharmacists (Season 4, episode 26)

Dr. Doofenshmirtz's latest invention, called the Repulse-inator, ends up turning everyone in the Tri-state area into zombie-like pharmacists. It is up to Phineas and Ferb and the gang and Perry to save the day. A special moment in this episode is when Isabella confesses to Phineas that she likes Phineas and has a crush on him. Isabella has dropped many hints during previous episodes of her crush on him, and Phineas never gets the message.

7. Candace Get's Busted (Season 2, episode 38)

After Linda and Lawrence leave town for a trip and putting Candace in charge., Candace invites a few friends for a get-together, which turns into a party. After growing suspicious, Linda and Lawrence go back to the house and are greeted by a party, and Candace gets in busted. This episode distinguishes itself by the fact that Candace is always trying to get her brothers, and Dr. Doofensmirtz's contractions end up hiding the evidence. Only this time, Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans do not interfere and Candace ends up the one in trouble.

8. Phineas' Birthday Clip-O-Rama! (Season 3, episode 3)

To celebrate Phineas's birthday, Ferb creates a video of all of the adventures the gang has been on. During this lookback, Dr. Doofenshmirtz explains to Perry that all of his inventions seem to fail because they have the word inator in them and decides to use non-inator in the naming of his latest new invention to avoid his invention from failing. I won't argue with the logic of that, which makes this episode comical.

9. Comet Kermilian (Season 1, episode 25)

While Phineas and Ferb are carving their names in a comet, Candace decides to pass the time with Jeremy and his sister Suzy at the park. "Comet Kermillian" is one of the many episodes that show Suzy's true colors of evil and her dark side, as she is afraid that Candace will interfere with the relationship of her and Jeremy. Suzy acts sweet and innocent towards Jeremy and many of the characters of the show, but her pure hatred of Candace in this episode is one you would not want to miss.

10. S'winter (Season 1, episode 3)

Winter's snowflakes and summer's sunrays collide in "S'winter." Phineas and Ferb decide to bring winter during their summer break by creating a winter wonderland in their backyard. Candace' crazy antics of trying to bust Phineas and Ferb and attempting to win Jeremy over Dee Dee is not one episode to miss.
