Could Disney change Bluey and Bingo at the parks?

As the Heelers make their Disney debut, could the studio give them a new makeover?

As one of the most recognizable cartoon characters on the planet, Bluey and the rest of her cartoon canine cavalcade have a very distinct look. Courtesy of creator Joe Brumm, Bluey, Bingo, and all the rest have a rather boxy look that helps them stand out from the rest of the competition.

That might soon change, however, as Disney prepares to usher in a new-blue era. With Bluey and Bingo making their debut as Meet and Greet characters at the Disney Parks and cruise line, could they also undergo a redesign to fit the Disney aesthetic?

Will Bluey be "Disney-fied"

It's safe to say that Bluey has one of the largest and most vocal fanbases in the realm of fandom. Both kids and adults have enjoyed the heartfelt animated antics of the Heeler family, and they're very protective of their beloved dogs.

With the partnership between Disney and Ludo Studio already causing a stir in the fan community, it might not be unwise to wonder if Disney will alter their mascot designs once they cross that magical threshold. After all, they're already getting a makeover for the upcoming feature film.

Take a look at Disney's own Mickey Mouse. In his near-century-long career, he's undergone several redesigns both in and out of the parks. The same can be said of many other Disney-owned characters as well. Who's to say Bluey and Bingo won't be next?

Granted, the pups belong much more to Ludo than they do Disney, but the studio has been known to change their characters to keep up with their film appearances. While highly unlikely, it's still in the realm of possibility.

Of course, this is all pure speculation, and it seems like Disney will be utilizing the suits seen at last year's D23 event. That being said, there's always the opportunity for change whenever Disney gets involved.
