As part of yesterday's big Halloween party reveal, Disney has confirmed that Jack Skellington and Sally will once again be making spooky meet-and-greet appearances at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort, but this time, there’s a major twist.

Jack is debuting a brand-new look, and fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas are already doing a double-take.

Jack Skellington Gets A Glow Up!

The updated design, which Disney officially unveiled on social media, enhances Jack’s skeletal features with more realistic detailing. His head now features a refined face structure, an improved mouth design, and sharper eyes, giving him a look that’s much more faithful to Tim Burton’s original animated masterpiece.

The change swaps the somewhat “lightbulb-headed” or “alien-esque” vibe for a more film-accurate version that’s sure to impress longtime fans.

Althought the design is confirmed to appear at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, some fans noticed that Disney’s announcement used broader hashtags referencing Disney Parks rather than the specific Florida event. That’s led many to believe the new look could potentially debut in other Disney parks around the globe as well, meaning Tokyo, Paris, and Anaheim might also be getting a new Pumpkin King.

Jack and Sally’s meet-and-greet is always one of the most popular experiences at the Halloween party, often drawing massive lines of fans eager to snap a photo with the beloved couple. With this refreshed look, we can only expect those lines to get even longer.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns

The big Jack Skellington reveal comes hot on the heels of Disney dropping this year’s dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and let’s just say, it’s time to grab your costume and start planning.

Running on select nights from August 15 through October 31, this separately ticketed event transforms Magic Kingdom into a spooky (but still family-friendly) Halloween spectacular. As the sun dips behind Cinderella Castle, the park’s atmosphere takes a thrilling turn. Eerie music creeps in, shadows stretch across the pavement, and the Haunted Mansion practically demands a photo op.

Whether you’re there to trick-or-treat, catch the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, or snap a selfie with the newly refreshed Jack Skellington, this is the fall celebration you won’t want to miss.

Jack Skellington and all his friends can be found at the Disney Parks all Halloween long!
