New Disney candy containers are absolute garbage!

Have we been eating out of trash?
THREE-IN-ONE – He’s not a fork. He’s not a spoon. And most of all, Forky is not a toy! At least that’s what he thinks. Bonnie created him from an assortment of supplies Woody’s retrieved from the kindergarten trash can. So, it’s no wonder Forky feels strongly that he’s trash and not a toy. Disney just turned garbage into gold, literally. If you've ever strolled down Main Street, U.S.A. and thought, “Wow, that trash can is kind of cute,” then you’re in for a treat. Introducing Disney’s latest viral collectible: Bulk Candy Containers inspired by the iconic Walt Disney World trash cans.

You’ve seen them. You’ve walked past them. Maybe you’ve even dressed up as one for Halloween (because Disney fans really don’t mess around). But now, you can own one, and this time, it comes packed with sweets.

Disney's "trashy" snack containers

The all-new candy containers are miniature replicas of the classic Main Street trash cans, and they’re officially launching later this May at select Walt Disney World Resort locations. “Bin-troducing the all-new Bulk Candy Containers, inspired by the classic Main Street U.S.A. trash cans and packed with your favorite sweet treats,” Disney teased.

And just FYI, we’re not trash-talking when we say these are bound to sell out fast. Each container features swinging lids on both sides and a functional flip-top, just like the real thing. They’re available while supplies last, and can be found at six locations across Walt Disney World.

But there’s a catch. Before you can buy your new favorite souvenir, you have to fill up on sugar. Here’s how it works: Guests can head to any of the designated candy locations, grab a bag, and fill it up with at least ½ lb. of bulk candy. Only after that can you purchase the trash can container. So don’t toss your gummy worms in there just yet, you’ve gotta pay for them first.

Once you’ve checked out, it’s time to pour your goodies into the bin and enjoy. And when the candy’s gone? You’ve got a quirky, nostalgic collectible to show off on your desk, shelf, or wherever you store your Disney obsession. We’re already dreaming up ways to use it. Think desk organizer, snack stash, or even a chic little planter.

So, where can you snag one of these incredible candy containers? You’ll find them at select locations across Walt Disney World Resort. In the parks, head to Main Street Confectionery in Magic Kingdom or Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Over at the resorts, you can pick one up at the Screen Door General Store at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn or the Meadow Trading Post at The Campsites at Fort Wilderness. If you’re spending time at Disney Springs, be sure to stop by Goofy’s Candy Company or Disney’s Candy Cauldron to grab yours before they’re gone.

With their bold colors and cheeky design, these candy containers are pure Disney magic, turning something as ordinary as a trash can into a must-have souvenir. And let’s be honest: only Disney could make garbage look this cute. But, just note that there is a limit of two per guest.

Get ready to bin, snack, and repeat. These tiny trash cans are the sweetest thing to hit the parks this summer.
