Disney Lorcana: Everything included in the Disney100 Collectors Edition

Disney Lorcana, the new collectible trading card game from Ravensburger, has been a smash hit since its release a few weeks ago. Although many are still searching feverishly for the premiere set, The First Chapter, Ravensburger has already revealed Lorcana TCG's second set, Rise of the Floodborn.

Rise of the Floodborn will add more than 200 more cards to the Lorcana TCG. The next set will be available at local game stores on November 17th and will come in the form of two additional starter decks (Amber/Sapphire and Amethyst/Steel) as well as booster packs.

In addition to the second set, Ravensburger is releasing a special Collection Set, Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition, in celebration of Disney’s 100th anniversary. Although it's releasing alongside Set 2, the Disney100 Edition will actually feature cards from both The First Chapter and Rise of the Floodborn.

The highlight of this Collection Set are six full-art promo cards. These cards feature alternate artwork drawn by Disney animators from Walt Disney Animation Studios and feature an exclusive Disney100 frame design, a satin holographic foil finish, and a signature from the animator who worked on it.

Here are the six promo cards included in the Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition Collection Set:

• Stitch, Abomination (The First Chapter)
• Maleficent, Uninvited (The First Chapter)
• Maui, Demigod (The First Chapter)
• Genie, Powers Unleashed (The First Chapter)
• Mickey Mouse, Friendly Face (Rise of the Floodborn)
• Elsa, Gloves Off (Rise of the Floodborn)

It's important to note that despite the frame and holographic finish, these cards are not enchanted rares. Rather, they are simply unique promo cards, similar to the D23 Expo , Gamescom and GenCon cards. They look cool, but don't have any extra powerful effects.

The difference between these cards and the previously released promo cards is that the Disney100 Edition will be available at big box retailers, theoretically making them slightly easier to obtain. That is, unless scalpers snipe them all before the general masses even have a chance -- as we saw with the release of The First Chapter.

In addition to the six promo cards, the Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition Collection Set will also include four Booster Packs for Rise of the Floodborn.

Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition Collection Set will be available on December 1st alongside the wide release of the Rise of the Floodborn expansion. The Collection Set has an MSRP of $49.99, but expect scalpers to charge even more if demand continues to exceed supply.
