When Disney announced plans to release a pop punk album of its greatest hits, you had to imagine New Found Glory would make the cut. The "godfathers of pop punk," New Found Glory are pioneers in the genre and have been delivering hits for decades.

Sure enough, just a few days ago, the band started dropping hints that they were to be featured on the upcoming album, "A Whole New Sound." The band posted on social media a teaser for their upcoming reimagined track followed by its full release online. I present to you, New Found Glory's version of "Part of Your World," from the Disney animated classic The Little Mermaid.

New Found Glory are no strangers to covers. The band has been performing their rendition of popular movie songs for decades, since 2000's cover album From the Screen to Your Stereo.

Funny enough, this isn't New Found Glory's first time reimagining a Disney song. On their 2019 album, From the Screen to Your Stereo 3, they actually covered the song "Let It Go" from the hit movie Frozen.

New Found Glory is the third band to be revealed for Disney's "A Whole New Sound," joining Simple Plan ("Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King) and Magnolia Park ("I2I" from A Goofy Movie). So far all three songs have been incredible re-imaginings of already great songs.

If this was your first time hearing New Found Glory, I highly suggest you check out their older stuff. Their two cover ablums are, of course, similar in nature to what you hear above. But their original tracks are also head-bangers. Definitely check out 1999's Nothing Gold Can Stay, 2000's New Found Glory, 2002's Sticks & Stones, and 2004's Catalyst.

Following the release of New Found Glory's cover of "Part of Your World," Disney announced that "A Whole New Sound" will release on September 6th, so just a few more weeks!
