The first week of the year can be challenging with the high expectations you set for yourself. The best way to unwind, especially after the holidays, is to listen to the sources from childhood.

"When life gets you down do you wanna know what you've gotta do? Just keep swimming!"
- Dory, Finding Nemo

Sometimes it really is that simple. The only way to overcome troubles is just to keep on going like Dory. There's no improvement without progression!

"I never look back, darling. It distracts from the now."
- Edna Mode, The Incredibles

The most distinguished superhero fashion designer in the world put it perfectly. There is no point in nit-picking what has happened, but rather using your mistakes to learn. Whenever you want to sit and regret what you've done, it's helpful to imagine the wrath of Edna's newspaper on your head.

"Giving up is for rookies."
- Phil, Hercules

Only an amateur wouldn't give themselves a chance. But seasoned pros push through and fight. You got this, go the distance!

"All we can do is our best, and sometimes the best that we can do is start over."
- Peggy Carter, Captain America: The First Avenger

Peggy Carter was right. There's nothing wrong with a fresh start. It can be easy to get overwhelmed when everything seems to be going wrong. But the new year marks the beginning of a new you. With a deep breath and a willingness to start anew, it'll all work out.

"I don't want to survive, I want to live!"
- The Captain, Wall-E

2025 should be the year of living! Maybe try something new and step outside your comfort zone. Life is about more than going through the motions. We don't want to end up like the folks in WALL-E.

"Silencio Bruno!"
- Alberto, Luca

This quick phrase works for any kind of anxiety-inducing situation. For the new year, focus on silencing the "Bruno" in your head. Or the voice that tells you can't. Try telling yourself you can do it.

"Even miracles take a little time."
- The Fairy Godmother, Cinderella

Things rarely happen in the time we want them to. That New Year's resolution you're working on? It's going to take a second to work its magic. But a little patience goes a long way and soon you'll have yourself a miracle.

"That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember most."
- Russell, Up

Everyone has big expectations for a new year. But don't be so hard on yourself. Boring stuff is necessary and can still be memorable.

"You want something done, you've got to do it yourself."
- Sebastian, The Little Mermaid

The goals you want to achieve this coming year all come down to you. No one can do the same kind of work you can do, so go! Make it happen.

"Try to make the world a better place. Look inside yourself and recognize that change starts with you. It starts with me. It starts with all of us. "
- Judy Hopps, Zootopia

To make a real difference, we have to work together despite our differences, like Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. There is nothing stronger than collaboration. To make this your best year yet, surround yourself with like-minded people who want to help make the world a better place.
