From the Avengers to the X-Men, it seems like everyone has had at least a small taste of the Marvel Multiverse, but how many of those die-hard fans can say they are enraptured in the comics? As much as we love our favorite heroes, many forget that the MCU began in the panels so many decades ago.

The fact of the matter is that Marvel has simply grown beyond the pages of a comic book and quickly saturated into modern pop culture. That said, Marvel Comics is opening the door wide for fans of the MCU to dip their toes into the comic book industry with a new project, and we can't wait.

Marvel Comics Premier Collection welcomes fans of the MCU

What many people, including some of our favorite filmmakers, need to realize is that the Marvel Cinematic Universe should be recognized as a comic first and a movie second. In order to attract MCU fans to the source, Marvel just kicked off a new collection of comics with some familiar faces.

The Marvel Comics Premier Collection is a set of three volumes of comics featuring Daredevil, Black Panther, and the Fantastic Four, all with storylines that inspired their cinematic counterparts. The set is designed to serve as an entry point into the Marvel universe for fans looking for more than the movies.

At the time of writing, the collection has released Daredevil: Born Again, Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet to be released, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Fantastic Four: Solve Everything following at later dates. Seeing how these titles have ties to recent entries in the MCU it could be the stepping stone generations of new fans need to enjoy the world of Marvel.

Speaking as a fan of both the film series and its source material, comics aren't for everyone, but they are still a time-honored art form that more fans should enjoy. Some of the most compelling narratives and characters still only exist on the pages of a graphic novel, and Marvel is pulling a genius move with this new collection.

As the comic collection hits shelves, fans can still enjoy their favorite parts of the MCU on Disney+.
